GiftGram apps are now available on iPhone and Android platforms
GiftGram enables shoppers to send personalized video greetings with gifts ordered and shipped from any online website
CLEVELAND. December 5, 2014. In today’s digital world of online shopping, more and more gifts are shipped directly to recipients, but now these gifts can arrive with the in-person touch of being hand delivered using a new online service from Cleveland-based Sociagram. GiftGram was launched in October and enables online shoppers to record a video greeting that will be delivered by email, Facebook or text message to recipients when gifts ordered from any website arrive at their door. GiftGrams can be ordered and sent for free at the www.GiftGram.com website. A GiftGram app for iPhone and Android platforms is now available in the iTunes App Store or Google Play Store.
Using their webcam or the camera on their mobile device, people record their video message and it is uploaded to the GiftGram site. They can sing Happy Birthday, gather friends and family for a group greeting, or make their message individual and sentimental. To have the GiftGram arrive when their gift packages arrive, senders enter the shipping tracking number they received when they placed their order with any online retailer. Using a patent-pending technology, the GiftGram is timed to arrive when the shipped packages are delivered by United Parcel Service, Federal Express or the United States Postal Service. Senders also have the option of having the GiftGram delivered immediately after it’s recorded or scheduled on a date in the future.
As an added benefit for recipients, the GiftGram enables them to instantly videotape and send their thank-you response to express right away how much they enjoyed and appreciated their gifts.
